Incoming Freshmen

All incoming freshmen are required to have a sports physical completed after February 1st of their 8th grade year in order to be eligible to participate in athletics at Bow High School.

If your child had a physical completed prior to this date, an updated sports physical will be required. If your child’s primary care provider is unable to perform the exam, there are several local options available, including ConvenientMD, Concentra Clinics, and CVS Minute Clinics. ConvenientMD offers sports physicals for approximately $20; however, we recommend checking with your insurance provider prior to scheduling.

Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors

A freshman physical is the only one that is needed during a student athlete's high school years provided that the student participates in at least one sport each school year. If a student does not participate in sports for a year, a new physical is required prior to participation.
