Chromebook

BHS is a one-to-one school. To be able to participate fully in class remember the three C’s: your Chromebook should be CHARGED, in a CASE, and CONNECTED to the Wi-Fi. Visit the tech office in the Learning Commons if you need help with your device.

Your Chromebook is an essential tool, take exceptional care of it.

Clubs & Co-Curriculars

The more involved you are in the life of the school the more you will get out of your experience as a Falcon. Consider joining a club or participating in a co-curricular activity. There is a club fair scheduled early in the year to learn about opportunities.

Email & Google Classroom

Teachers use email to communicate with students and post assignments on Google Classroom. Get in the habit of checking your email and Google Classroom at least once a day.

Finding Assistance

There are many resources available to you if you need assistance. School counseling is located in the 1200 wing and you can make appointments with Martha Rae or online. Mr. Fisk’s Office is located outside of the auditorium. Ms. Barth’s office is on the second floor near the atrium. And the Learning Lab is open each period for students to access for help with assignments or organizing their material.

Flex Time

Flex Time provides students with an opportunity to work directly with their teachers. Taking advantage of this time is an important ingredient in a student’s academic success!

Open Periods

During your open period you can utilize the Learning Commons, study in the atrium, or visit the cafeteria. It’s best to go to your locker right at the start of your open period to get what you need and before classes get started. 11th and 12th grade students with open campus permission may leave campus during this time.

Student IDs

You should have your student ID on you at all times. 11th and 12th grade students will need their ID to access the Open Campus privilege.
