B.E.S.T. - 2.5 Credits
1 credit in BEST 9: which includes Physical & Health Education topics
1 credit in BEST 10: which includes Physical & Health Education topics
.5 credit of any BEST elective to be completed in the junior or senior year
Humanities - 8 credits
2 credits in American Dream which includes English, US & NH Government
2 credits in World Studies which includes English & US/World History/Geography
2 credits in English which includes .5 Senior Seminar and .5 Writing Course (Recommended)
.5 credit *Civics - Must pass the United States Citizenship & Naturalization Exam
.5 credit Art Elective
1 credit Humanities based electives (Art, Music, English or Social Studies)
Science, Technology, Engineering, Math & Business (STEMB) - 8 Credits
1 credit in Integrated Physical Science which includes Physical, Biological, Earth & Space Science topics
1 credit in Integrated Life Science which includes Physical and Biological Science topics
4 credits in Math, including Algebra 1; the fourth credit may be fulfilled through a Math experience (see page 32)
2 credits of any STEMB elective
Requirement for a total of .5 credits
.5 credit Money Matters or Personal Finance and Investing I (Personal Finance and Investing I is recommended for students who plan to pursue a degree in business) which includes Economics
Electives for a total of 5.5 credits
Electives include any course successfully completed and not yet used to fulfill a requirement listed above.

Graduation Non-Credit Requirements for all Students
Digital Literacy
Digital literacy skills are embedded throughout the curriculum as part of the core requirements of a Bow High School education.
Senior Project/Presentation
All students must successfully complete and present a senior project in order to earn a Bow High School diploma. Students will prepare for their Senior Project in their required Senior Seminar Course. The purpose of the Senior Project is to provide seniors with the opportunity to explore and experience interdisciplinary topics of their choice while demonstrating knowledge and public presentation skills.
Community Service/Career Exploration Requirements
20 hours minimum of each; pro-rated at 5 hours of each per year for those students not attending Bow High School for 4 years.
United States Citizenship & Naturalization Exam
Pursuant to HB 1367, the state of New Hampshire requires that students attain a passing grade on the United States Naturalization Exam prior to graduation. The exam is administered in the BHS Civics and Government class; successful completion of Civics indicates that the student has passed the Naturalization Exam, thereby fulfilling the state requirement.
