Marketing

This semester course examines the basic functions involved in the exchange process designed to meet customers’ needs.  Such functions include marketing research, target market selection, product design, promotional and advertising activities, distribution, theories of consumer behavior and pricing.  Juniors and seniors may receive three credits through NHTI’s Running Start program.

  • The world of marketing - Students will explore the importance of marketing and how a business will go about planning and segmenting its marketing activities.
  • Marketing Economy and Global Analysis - Students will gain an understanding on how the economy and international trade connect to a businesses marketing plan.
  • Promotion and Advertising - Students will gain an understanding on how a business creates promotional strategies and advertising plans for its products.
